About the Store
Thank you for visiting our Brewlab.108 store!
Our brewery is a microbrewery founded in 2019 in Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture.
Based on the concept of "a new taste never seen before",
We continue to produce craft beer with a focus on ingredients and production methods.
We will do our best to ensure that as many customers as possible can enjoy Brewlab.108's craft beer!

Origin of the name
"Brewlab"
"Brew" is a contraction of "Brewing," which means "to brew" in English, and "lab" is a contraction of "laboratory," which means "laboratory."
This is a combination of these two words, and represents the philosophy of taking advantage of the benefits of small-scale batch production to explore unprecedented flavors and recipes.
"108 (Touhachi)"
Our goal is to develop 108 different tastes, the same as the number of earthly desires.
The name pays homage to the famous Nakameguro restaurant "Izakaya Touhachi," which has a deep connection to the company's representative, Kato.

As a Japan Origin, we want to spread the taste of Japan from Yamagata to the world!
At Brewlab.108, we are challenging ourselves to create new, original Japanese flavors that set us apart from the standardized image of major Japanese beer companies.
The concept is to develop and provide to the world 108 varieties of new flavors that can appeal to Yamagata, with high quality that is appreciated not only in Japan but also overseas. The husband and wife duo is particular about the ingredients and manufacturing methods they use.
We would like to spread the word about Yamagata's craft beer, which has been recognized by craft beer evaluation organizations and critics, not only to people in Japan but also to many people around the world, along with the amazing taste of the beer.
Finally, we would like to spread the word about a future where craft beer helps people learn about local agricultural products and producers (farmers), becoming a hub for regional branding, and ultimately revitalizing the local economy. We would like to spread the word about this path to a future from Yamagata to the world!
And we would be very happy if we could enjoy this unconventional way of enjoying craft beer with you all.
